PORTLAND, Oregon, March 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Nutcase, Inc., the original lifestyle sports helmet brand that launched a global trend in 2006, today announces extensive, new plans for the Nutcase brand in Europe. The company, which sells beautifully designed, modern graphic helmets and accessories in the bike, skate, snow, and water sports categories, is now partnering with summer and winter outdoor sport distributors covering all major European markets.

The change in distribution model includes new Dusseldorf-based business development representation and a central distribution center in Holland. This follows Nutcase's termination January 31, 2013 of its five-year relationship with Intelligent Mobility GmbH. Based on increasing differences in business practices, Nutcase owners Michael Morrow and Miriam Berman felt it necessary to terminate the relationship and work directly with individual country distributors.

In summer 2013, Nutcase will launch their next generation of Street Sport helmets, the "Gen 3". The Gen 3 Street Sport helmet will highlight new graphic designs and product features combined with the same classic urban style that customers and dealers around the world have come to love. Like all current Nutcase street helmets, the Gen 3 will feature the Nutcase signature magnetic chinstrap buckle from Fidlock GmbH, a feature that has proven to be a huge fan favorite worldwide.
