In addition, from the second half of the current fiscal year, NTT Com will begin providing cloud-based managed security services utilizing network function virtualization technology to virtualize the functions of customers' network equipment.
Through these and other initiatives, NTT Com, a global ICT partner, intends to further expand and upgrade global network (http://www.ntt.com/universalone_e/) services that enable customers to grow their global businesses effectively and efficiently.
According to Gartner, "Magic Quadrants provides a graphical competitive positioning of technology and service providers where market growth is high and provider differentiation is distinct. Magic Quadrants depict markets in the middle phases of their life cycle by using a two-dimensional matrix that evaluates vendors based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. A Magic Quadrant has 15 weighted criteria that plot vendors based on their relative strengths in a particular market." (*2)
