The Technology Impulse events were designed to introduce audiences to the Internet of Things (IoT) and showcase the latest developments with practical examples from the field. Highlights included a discussion panel at each roadshow filled with high caliber experts from companies such as Microsoft, Freescale Semiconductor, Siemens, Kistler Instruments and Swisscom. The experts agreed that IoT is in part still in its infancy, however, future scenarios and practical examples show that IoT used for targeted applications in conjunction with a mature business model can be made profitable for businesses.

"The roadshow held for the first time in Switzerland and Germany was well received and attracted over 200 visitors" said Geri Moll, CEO Noser Engineering AG. "With our very own Internet of Things Demo Platform and practical use cases, we were able to demonstrate our know-how and abilities in this rapidly developing and exciting new area."

Thomas Riesen, Head of Business Unit Software Engineering, and Oliver Voll, Senior Software Engineer, both from Noser Engineering AG teamed up with customer Kistler Instruments to provide several practical examples to the audience.
