Nikken Sekkei's Major Client, Kvartstroy, is Showcased at MIPIM in Cannes

CANNES, France, March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Nikken Sekkei Limited, one of the world's largest architectural design firms based in Japan, today celebrates the showcase of its major client, Kvartstroy, during MIPIM in Cannes. Nikken Sekkei works closely with Kvartstroy as chief consultant and planner for its projects in CIS since 2006. Among them include the first project in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and then the Park European Residential Complex in Volgograd, followed by the recent large-scale development of the Novinki Community Development Project in Nigny Novgorod. Park European Residential Complex is an integrated development project located at the border of Soviet Kirov district of Volgograd. The project includes residential area, business-class infrastructures as well as a unique European park complex. Construction phase kicked off in 2011 and is expected to complete by 2018. Upon completion, the area will provide a total of 130,000 sq.m. of living area, 70,000 sq.m. of commercial area, 10,000 sq.m. of retail space and 2,690 parking spaces.

Novinki Community Development Project is the largest project of complex development of the territory in the Volga region of Russia, a satellite town just 2.5 km from Nizhny Novgorod (The Volga region Federal district of Russia). By completion in 2018, it will become part of the city. It is considered an international-standard project that implements the actual concept of Smart City, combining technological solutions, friendliness in relation to environment and comfort of accommodation.
