Nicopure Labs Addresses TPD Compliance with Certification Statement
TAMPA, Florida, April 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nicopure Labs, LLC, the leading manufacturer of premium American-made e-liquids, announces its Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) compliance with 23 member states of the European Union (EU) in a certification statement sent to distributors of its products.
Nov. 20, 2016 was the deadline for submission of premarket notifications for vaping products under the 2014 TPD. Submissions for all vaping companies had to be filed through an online EU portal for products on the market as of May 20, 2016. While each EU country is different, non-compliant products manufactured and imported before Nov. 20, 2016 can generally still be sold through May 20, 2017.
While product offerings and nicotine strengths will vary based on country, Nicopure Labs submitted nearly 200 SKUs for compliance, representing Halo and eVo's top e-liquid flavors and hardware.
"We issued this compliance to all of our distributors to provide assurance that all of Nicopure's products from this point forward are compliant with TPD," said Jeff Stamler, CEO and co-founder of Nicopure Labs. "The products we currently manufacture and export to the EU have already been notified through the online EU notification portal before the November 20, 2016 deadline and are compliant."
To remain compliant with the TPD and to be transparent, Nicopure provides a listing of SKUs registered with the EU, a sample sheet of their compliant products and a compliance certification letter to all partners.
