New Europe-Wide Lottery Set to Launch with €10 Million Jackpot

The organisers of Europe's latest multi-national mega-lottery - Eurojackpot - are hoping for to sell 50 million tickets for the first draw on Friday 23^rd March and lottery fans around the world will be able to play thanks to  WinTrillions, the world's largest lottery website.

Devised as a rival to the established EuroMillions draw, Eurojackpot will feature a minimum jackpot prize pool of €10 million, rising up to a maximum of €90 million through successive rollover draws. The lottery will be marketed across Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Holland, Slovenia and Sweden and it's expected to be a big hit with the continent's lottery fans.

The structure of Eurojackpot will be similar to that of EuroMillions with players choosing 5 numbers from 50 and 2 extra numbers from 8, as opposed to 11 with EuroMillions, meaning that the odds of hitting the jackpot will be substantially enhanced. In order to win the big prize, players will need to correctly match all seven balls and, in addition to the jackpot, there are 11 other prize levels. The lowest prize payout requires 2 main balls and 1 extra number.
