A nationwide competition launched today by the National Sales Awards in partnership with Huthwaite International, is calling for people to describe their 'Best Sale Ever' - to coincide with the launch of the new 'Sale of the Year' category for the awards.
The organisers of the National Sales Awards are asking sales professionals to submit details of their best ever sale in 250 words, by the 28th May for the chance to win £500. The winner will be decided by Lee McQueen, Apprentice winner and founder of Raw Talent Academy and Tony Hughes, CEO of Huthwaite International, with the winner being announced on 10th June. Whether it's opening your own sweet shop at the age of 10 or bringing in a new client with an innovative idea - the winner will be decided based on the most creative sales solution that displays going above and beyond. The competition celebrates the launch of the new award category - 'Sale of the Year' which will be awarded to the sales team or individual that can demonstrate creativity in approach, effort above and beyond the ordinary in closing a sale and creating a win win for clients and the sales operation. Participants are urged to enter their best sale from 2013 into the new category for the overall National Sales Awards.
The National Sales Awards is supported by previous Apprentice winner and Founder of Raw Talent Academy, Lee McQueen. He will judge the competition and commented: "The launch of the Sale of the Year category is an exciting addition to the National Sales Awards, as it will allow people and teams to celebrate their biggest success of the year and tell the industry of the innovative way they achieved it. Looking back over some of the sales I have led, and been a part of in the past, it is a category I would have loved to have entered and I am really looking forward to seeing what the sales industry has to offer."
The competition launches as The National Sales Awards also invites sales teams and professionals throughout the UK to enter the 2013 awards. Now in its 17th year, the National Sales Awards is the most prestigious accolade for the sales industry in the UK.
