FRANKFURT, Germany, October 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
Europe's largest frequent flyer and awards programme is cooperating with one of the leading streaming services
Enjoying unlimited access to over 40 million music titles while earning and redeeming miles is now possible thanks to the cooperation between Miles & More and the premium streaming music service Napster. With the new partnership, the loyalty programme offers its members throughout Europe now also in the entertainment sector the opportunity to earn award miles with every purchase and redeem them for monthly or annual subscriptions. Earning and redeeming with Napster is available in the UK and 15 other countries, including Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.
"In the course of the digital transformation and an increasingly mobile lifestyle, the demand for streaming services is growing considerably. Users want to be able to access their music wherever and whenever they like," says Nicolas Brackmann, Director Key Account Management at Miles & More GmbH. "With this new partnership, we are responding to this need and offering our members an innovative product which enables them to always have the music they want, whatever they feel like listening to."
Qualified Miles & More members who register their membership with their Napster subscription earn one award mile for every euro spent with the music streaming service. Miles already earned can be redeemed for monthly or annual subscriptions. To mark the launch of the cooperation members benefit from a special promotion: For 39,000 award miles instead of regularly 46,500, members can stream music for an entire year. The promotional offer is valid until December 31, 2017.
Whether they are on the train or relaxing at the beach, having access to the right music is increasingly important for more and more people nowadays. With Napster, users can access their favourite music, from pop to classic, on their laptop, tablet or smartphone - even offline and worldwide, and without a mobile or Wi-Fi connection.
Ken Murphy, Senior Vice President Strategic Partnerships at Napster, explains: "Music is an essential part of our daily lives, especially when we're on the go. This partnership gives frequent travellers a simple and appealing way to stream great music wherever they are."
