RAMSGATE, England, June 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Working mother of two, Chiara Stone, has been signed by Liberty London in a deal to stock her homegrown acrylic jewellery brand Hoobynoo World. Chiara, who was working as a bookseller at Waterstone's when the decision was made, is now devoting herself to the business full-time.
Her brand, which is based around cute and colourful characters in a cartoon setting, has already been requested and worn by a number of fashion-conscious celebrities, including Katie Price, Lateysha Grace and Nicole Morris from breakout MTV show 'The Valleys'.
Department store Liberty will join online retailers Not on the High Street and Spoiled Brat in stocking the fledgling range, which already boasts more than forty individual characters, all designed and originally illustrated by Chiara during the evenings when her children were in bed.
Each character comes with a personal profile written by her husband, author David Lee Stone, who hit national headlines in 2004 by signing with Disney in a record-breaking deal for his 'Illmoor Chronicles'. Stone now writes full-time for Hodder UK and Penguin USA under the pseudonym 'David Grimstone'. He is currently working on a Hoobynoo World Character Compendium.
Hoobynoo World jewellery can be purchased in both individual units and via wholesale from http://www.hoobynooworld.co.uk
