MSX International Acquires Impetus Automotive, Significantly Expands Presence, Services in United Kingdom
DETROIT, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MSX International (MSXI), a leading global business process outsourcing company, announced today it has acquired U.K.-based Impetus Automotive, an international consultancy that works with vehicle manufacturers from around the world to improve performance and grow business within retail dealerships. This acquisition more than doubles the size of MSXI's footprint in the U.K. market, and brings new capabilities to the organization and greater access to serve leading OEM clients. By adding Impetus Automotive as a wholly-owned subsidiary, MSXI gains complementary skills in its key domains of retail sales, aftersales, and learning services.
MSXI is acquiring Impetus Automotive from its parent company, Volvere plc.

Under terms of the agreement, MSXI acquires 100 percent of the stock of Impetus Automotive whose employees serve as experts in a variety of insight-driven and technical roles.
Impetus Automotive delivers a range of services and products to global manufacturers of cars, motorbikes, agricultural, construction, and heavy goods vehicles. The company has a large presence in the U.K., which saw the volume of vehicle registrations grow by 23 percent in August 2018 from the previous year, and over 1.5 million vehicles have thus far been registered in the country this year. Beyond its U.K. operations, Impetus Automotive also conducts business for clients in many European markets as well as in Australia, China and Japan.
