At UKRC 2016, Montage will highlight its Follow-Up QC module that enables departments to monitor, analyse, and optimise follow-up recommendations made by radiologists. The new follow-up tracking tool was developed in response to recent literature identifying failed follow-up as a key patient safety issue and medicolegal risk and an important revenue opportunity for radiology practices. The Follow-Up QC module offered in MONTAGE automatically detects and tracks follow-up recommendations made by the radiologists. Montage's advanced natural language processing (NLP) identifies recommendations without requiring changes in radiologists' dictation habits. Montage identifies and highlights overdue recommendations, thereby reducing the incidence of patients lost to imaging follow-up.
Montage will demonstrate many advanced capabilities of its Search and Analytics product. Some of the latest capabilities include:
- MONTAGE QC features NLP improvements as well as new algorithms to identify critical results and report mismatches, such as laterality and sex errors within reports.
- QC Analytics leverages the power of MONTAGE Analytics to enable users to analyse, filter, and explore the data produced by MONTAGE QC to easily identify performance trends and quality outliers.
- Sequential Search enables complex queries across multiple imaging encounters, an essential foundation for outcome analysis. This new industry first and only feature also helps practices identify opportunities to reduce length-of-stay for inpatient radiology procedures.
- Search Analyse, long a mainstay of Montage's analytic capabilities, has become even more powerful, enabling users to drill down rapidly to gain additional insights.
