Mindjet Creates International Marketing Director Role to Focus on Overseas Expansion and Alignment Alongside Appointing New Director for its UK Operation
LONDON, March 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Collaborative work management provider Mindjet announces the creation of a new role to align the company's marketing efforts across its international region, which covers markets outside the US.
Rachel Lockwood, who was previously Senior Marketing Manager EMEA for Mindjet's NEWS region, will now become Marketing Director International, working closely with Uwe Richter, Vice President and General Manager, International. Following the launch of its integrated offering in visual collaboration and task management last year, Mindjet has recognised the potential for growth in the international regions outside the US and is looking to use Lockwood to ensure that the marketing messages across these regions are closely aligned.
Lockwood comments: "I'm thrilled to be taking the next step in my career here at Mindjet. We're a dynamic company full of people willing to think outside of the box and work inspired. I'm looking forward to using this to hone our international marketing and communications, and grow Mindjet's presence in the enterprise market."
To strengthen Mindjet's position in the UK, the company have also appointed Chris Norfolk as their new Director. Norfolk, who previously held the position of New Business Sales Manager (EMEA) at Rackspace Hosting, will bring his impressive drive and experience to Mindjet, where he will be focusing on developing and expanding it within the UK, another area where Mindjet have recognised the potential to expand.
Norfolk explains: "I think there's a huge opportunity for Mindjet in this region and genuinely believe that British businesses will benefit from using its technology. At a time when organisations and individuals are under increasing pressure to do more with less and explore more efficient ways of working, it's an exciting time to be moving into the collaborative work management software space."
