At the awards ceremony held in Dubai earlier today, the CFO Strategies Forum hosting the awards praised Mr. Friedman's leadership, management, and strategic vision in front of an audience of over 150 CEOs, CFOs, and other financial leaders from across the Middle East, including from companies such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and KBR.

Held each year in Dubai, the awards recognize the important contribution of CFOs in delivering results and achieving success for their organizations. Friedman received the award for 'Revolutionary CFO of the Year' based on his track record and significant contribution to transformation within Mina.

Prior to joining Mina Group, Mr. Friedman was a hedge fund investor, and invested across multiple sectors, including financial services, real estate, energy, consumer, and healthcare. Previously, Mr. Friedman worked at The Blackstone Group. Prior to Blackstone, he worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co. Mr. Friedman is a former White House intern for the Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton.
Mr. Friedman received a B.A. in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University. He received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and an MBA from Wharton Business School.
Mr. Friedman is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Dean's Council at Harvard Kennedy School. He is a member of the Pacific Council, Bretton Woods Committee, National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, and California Bar. USA Today named him one of the Top 20 college students in America as a member of the All-USA College Academic Team.
