Sunday 21^st April 2013 will see running enthusiasts coming together and hitting the streets of London for the Virgin London Marathon, for the 33^rd consecutive year

This year, over 33,000 people are 'on course' to run the 26.2 miles across London. Many will be taking part in outrageous fancy dress costumes, including London buses and various animals, and last year the world record for the slowest time was set when Lloyd Smith completed the marathon wearing a deep sea diving suit weighing over 50 kilos!
