The world's first family PC on Android set to redefine family computing

MiiPC, the world's first family computer on Android, today announces that the hotly-anticipated device is going out to Early Bird backers following a storm of success on Kickstarter that saw MiiPC smash its goal in the first 24 hours of launch.

MiiPC provides an easy way for parents to set online boundaries for their children and let them have a safe online experience playing games, watching videos or just browsing the web, as you would with any PC but with additional functionality. The device is paired with a mobile app for iOS and Android that gives parents access to these features while on the go; meaning that busy parents can monitor and refine the real-time online activities of their kids whether at work, at a supermarket or on their way home. Parents can also use any major browser to log in to the MiiPC Parental Web Portal to access the same parental control features.
