The world's first Android PC for families introduces next-level gaming experience capabilities
MiiPC, the highly-acclaimed PC for families with Cloud-based parental control features, today announces the joint partnership with 18th Parallel to provide an exciting and familiar gamepad experience to enhance regular tablet Android gameplay on a large screen HDTV or monitor.
The new gaming functionality further expands MiiPC's capabilities and brings a feature that will no doubt be exciting for both parents and their children. This will allow kids and adults to enjoy their favorite games on the familiar MiiPC device, while giving parents the ability to stay aware of what their children are playing, and make sure their gaming experience is a healthy one.

The 18th Parallel partnership introduces Cannonball console gaming platform, which adds another entertainment aspect to the existing MiiPC features. This new functionality will also be made available to all existing MiiPC users through an upcoming software update. MiiPC also comes with a companion application for Android and iOS mobile phones that allows parents to remotely keep an eye on and adjust their children's activities in real time, whether they're at home or out of the house. This feature helps the parents set online boundaries that aid in preventing internet addiction and introducing kids to online content in a way that is safe, informative and fun.

Further to the parental control functions, MiiPC brings the familiar Android environment to the bigger screen - the device can be plugged into a large screen TV to stream video content and games, making it a multi-purpose media center. In addition to this, with a keyboard, mouse, webcam and gamepad support, MiiPC is a fully functioning computer that runs on only 8.5 - 10 watts. This is 10x less than the average computer, making MiiPC very environmentally friendly and inexpensive to run but still providing fun for the whole family.
