MediaTek Makes Top 100 Global Innovators And World's 100 Best Performing CEOs Lists
TAIWAN, Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MediaTek is proud to announce that it was recently honored by both Thomson Reuters and Harvard Business Review (HBR), with the company breaking into the ranks of Reuters' Top 100 Global Innovators for the first time, and Chairman Ming-Kai Tsai once again named in HBR's annual The Best Performing CEOs in the World ranking.
The elite ranking of HBR's The Best Performing CEOs in the World is created through rigorous analysis based on hard data. Scoring methods not only take into account financial indicators such as ROE and market value, but also each CEO's long-term performance. This year, Chairman Tsai was once again named in HBR's The Best Performing CEOs in the World. Making it into the rankings for the second year in a row, Chairman Tsai is also the first ever Taiwanese to make the list. Last year, Mr. Tsai was ranked 83rd, however, this year sees him coming in at number 21. The Best Performing CEOs in the World 2014 also include Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, John Chambers, CEO of Cisco, as well as Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix.
