UK-based financial provider MBNA and Emirates' UK co-brand credit card programme has secured a leading award recognising the best co-brand and loyalty schemes in the world.
The Emirates Skywards Credit Card Accounts, launched as part of a collaboration between MBNA and Emirates in 2013, secured "Best New Co-branded, Affinity or Loyalty Product" at the annual Future Payments & Digital Banking 2014 Awards, backed by Cards International, beating challengers from the US, Canada and Dubai.
MBNA's Michael Donald collected the award on behalf of MBNA and Emirates at a ceremony held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London.
