SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Maxthon, a global software company that develops state-of-the-art web browsers, today released Maxthon Nitro, the fastest Windows PC browser currently available.  Nitro starts 3x faster, while fetching and loading web pages considerably quicker than any other existing Windows PC browser. This is the newest addition to the company's family of high-performance web browsers and is targeted at users who want a stripped-down, high performance browser with a minimalist design, a light memory and CPU footprint.

Maxthon Nitro also bests the competition in other, broader browser test speed measurements including the Dromaeo suite of tests. In a side-by-side, controlled testing environment, Nitro clocked in with a score of 842 compared to Chrome's 788.
