Master Investor Show Announces Main-stage Speakers

On 23rd April, five stars of the UK finance industry will deliver inspirational talks to an audience of 8,000 investors. The Master Investor Show takes place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London, on Saturday 23rd April. Main stage speakers are:
- Jim Mellon - world-renowned investor;
- Patrick Birley - CEO of ICAP's ISDX, the alternative UK investment exchange;
- David Lenigas - serial entrepreneur behind the discovery of oil near Gatwick Airport;

Now in its 14th year, the Master Investor Show creates opportunities for private investors to speak with CEOs, founders and decision-makers of companies. Companies, in turn, can tap into investors to increase liquidity in their shares or to raise new funding. 8,000 delegates have registered for this year's event and 80% of exhibitor space is already sold out.
Throughout the day, industry experts will deliver main-stage talks on current and future trends and provide insights on how to maximise financial returns. All this year's main-stage speakers have been very successful in their respective fields.
Headline speaker Jim Mellon notched up one of the biggest ever successes on the AIM market with Uramin, the company he co-founded in 2005 with $100,000 and sold in 2007 for $2.5 billion. Jim is a highly experienced and successful entrepreneur and investor, whose talks guarantee a huge crowd.

David Lenigas is a global entrepreneur and chairman of Lenigas Cuba. David is well-known for identifying and managing early-stage investment opportunities such as his time at UKOG - the company that discovered oil near Gatwick Airport.
Alan Steel, chairman of Alan Steel Assets Management (ASAM), has spent his career practising and studying how real wealth is created. ASAM has been listed in the Top Ten of Money Marketing Industry Awards' UK Best Investment Category for 10 years and Alan is a much sought after speaker.
Paul Lewis is a renowned financial journalist and commentator and known by Radio 4 listeners as presenter of Money Box.
