Sir David Cooksey, GBE has held various high profile roles in his extensive career. After founding venture capital firm Advent Venture Partners in 1981, he went on to hold several senior positions in the private and public sectors including Chairman of the Audit Commission, 1986-1995, a Director of the Bank of England, 1994 - 2005, and a Governor of the Wellcome Trust. He chaired UK Financial Investments Limited from 2009 to 2012. Sir David was also Chairman of London and Continental Railways from 2006 to 2011 and was appointed Chairman of Bechtel Ltd in 2009. Knighted in 1993 he was elevated to Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire (GBE) in 2007.
Kah Chye Tan is one of the world's foremost trade finance bankers. From 2010 to 2015, he was Chairman of the ICC Banking Commission, the leading industry body for the establishment of trade finance standards and policies, and he co-founded the ICC Academy to provide industry-leading business education. In his banking career, Kah Chye has held positions as Managing Director at JPM Chase, Vice Chairman of Barclays Corporate Banking and Global Head of Corporate Cash and Trade for Standard Chartered Bank. Kah Chye has contributed to various global organisations such as the World Trade Organization as a member of its Trade Expert Group and Swift as a member of its Trade Services Advisory Board.
