OTTAWA, Ontario, Jan. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Magor Corporation (TSX Venture: MCC) today announced it has opened an office in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in conjunction with Intersec 2014, a conference and exposition Jan. 19 – 21 that focuses on products for the fields of commercial security, information security, fire and rescue, safety and health, homeland security and policing in Europe and the Middle East.

Building upon a growing customer base in the region, Magor's cloud-based Aerus platform is witnessing strong demand for security applications because it provides the ability to access security information sources, ranging from video surveillance content to personal camera feeds from the field, and bring them into ultra-secure visual conversations that can be launched at a moment's notice.

As identified by InfoComm, the Middle East's market for audio-visual services is growing faster than most other regions, a further reason for Magor's decision to develop a local presence now.
