LONDON, June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
M.A.C Cosmetics and the M.A.C Pro Team decamped to the legendary Isle of Wight Festival to keep a host of top celebrities, performers and guests looking refreshed from dusk until dawn.
As the festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in its current incarnation, the M.A.C Pro Team were on hand to provide the ultimate festival makeup facilities for guests in the coveted IOW Festival Hospitality area and in the Artist Village all weekend.
M.A.C Pro Artists also had their brushes at the ready backstage in the festival green rooms where they provided makeup services to key talent performing over the weekend. They created a dazzling theatrical look for singer Pixie Lott who opted for a nude lip created using M.A.C Pencil in Boldly Bare with M.A.C Clear lipglass on the top. She also chose M·A·C Eyeshadows in Contrast and Electric Eeel, as well as M.A.C Glitter in Reflex Teal finished off with M.A.C Technakohl in Graph Black and M.A.C Fluidline in Blacktrack to create a bold blue hued eye. Pixie also wanted a festival touch to her look so M.A.C Pro Trainer Dean Rudd painted ornate blue flower buds on the side of her face using M.A.C Pro Acrylic Paints in Marine Ultra and Pure White.

Breakthrough singer Laura Steel opted for a pop-punk look. Her fierce eyes were created using M.A.C Paint Pot in Painterly, M.A.C Eyeshadows in Gesso, Silver Ring, Carbon and Embark. M·A·C Fascinating Eye Pencil, M·A·C Zoom Lash in Zoom Black and #33 Lashes were also applied. Her dark rimmed red lips were a combination of M.A.C Lip Pencil in Nightmoth and Brick and M·A·C Lipstick in Ruby Woo.
Many of the VIP's and Talent that visited the M.A.C area in hospitality requested glitter… and the colour of choice for lips was M.A.C's Lady Danger Lipstick. M.A.C Paintpots in Groundwork and Constructivist were some of the most popular requests.
