The M.A.C Pro Team will be on hand to provide the ultimate festival makeup facilities for VIP guests in the coveted Virgin Media Louder Lounge area on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August from 12pm - 8pm.
M.A.C Artists will also have their brushes at the ready backstage in the festival Artists Village where they will be geared up to provide makeup and grooming services to key talent performing over the weekend. Headline acts include Eminem, Rihanna, Arctic Monkeys, Plan B, Ellie Goulding, Bruno Mars, KT Tunstall, The Saturdays, The Wanted, Eliza Doolittle, Mark Ronson, the Business Intl and the Kiser Chiefs to name a few.
Lesley Keane - M.A.C Senior Artist has provided some beauty rules for "Festival Chic" this summer and to make sure the VIP festival goers keep their makeup looking great come rain or shine, M.A.C will be arming guests with Lesley's festival makeup essentials:

Here is a step by step guide to create a popular festival look...
While a shower and hand basin is a luxury, try drenching you're skin in MAC Fix +, it's a water spritzer with lots of luxurious ingredients to revitalise and rehydrate skin. While the skin is wet use a MAC Wipe to cleanse and exfoliate the face.
Use MAC Complete Comfort Cream to moisturise the face really working it into your skin. Foundation will never sit well on dry skin.
After a minute apply MAC Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50 to the face. This will aid to keep your foundation on, even out uneven skin texture and most importantly, protect against sun damage.

Apply MAC Coffee Eye Pencil all around the inside of the eye and smudge it outwards into the lash line with a #219 Pencil Brush.
Then apply a small amount of MAC Paint Pot in Constructivist across the lid and into the socket using a #224 Tapered blending brush, and then blend it underneath the eye. Apply MAC Wood Winked Eyeshadow over the centre of the lid to give a high metallic sheen.
Curl the lashes and apply a generous layer of MAC False Lash mascara to the top and bottom lashes.
Line the lips with MAC Oak Lip Pencil. It's a lovely nude brown tone. Add MAC Lush Amber Lipstick across the lips; try pressing it in with your fingertips for a natural look.
