Vue Cinemas to welcome box office names in first-ever hybrid edition
LONDON, Oct. 25, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- The world's biggest Microsoft Excel conference returns next year, as the latest Global Excel Summit instalment takes place 6–8 February 2024.
Excel's prevalence in the workplace has grown considerably in recent times, and the event taps into this by delivering premium-grade Excel and Power BI training that informs and inspires working professionals to gain a competitive edge in their careers.
In contrast to the three previous editions, this will be the first to include an exclusive in-person offering to accompany the popular virtual experience.
Angel Central's Vue Cinemas has been confirmed as the London-based venue, offering attendees an easily accessible location close to the heart of the capital.
Vue will host the first two days, with the final day designated online-only. However, the whole event will be live-streamed on Hubilo, a platform that specialises in producing interactive and engaging virtual experiences.
The event's theme is aptly named AI Exceleration, a testament to the rapid advancements in AI over the past year. There will be a special focus on Excel's newest arrivals and how they can be harnessed to unlock the program's full potential.
Five dedicated tracks encompass this, ensuring variety across sessions with many aspects and angles covered. They are Tech & Innovation, Data Visualisation & Analytics, Finance & Accounting, The Power Stack, and Formulas & Automation.
Material featured includes Python in Excel, Copilot, and Office Scripts alongside the likes of dynamic arrays, LAMBDAs, Power Query, and Power BI.
Over 30 speakers will set foot on stage, comprising Excel MVPs, trainers, and social media sensations. The star-studded line-up includes prominent figures like Leila Gharani, Bob Umlas, Chandoo, and Oz du Soleil, who will jet across from their respective homelands to present cutting-edge sessions.
Leila Gharani, renowned and revered for her hugely popular YouTube channel, has the honour of completing an Event Ambassador hat-trick. Her in-person Opening Keynote at the Global Excel Summit 2024 is a long anticipated-one.
Several Excel and Power BI Masterclasses also take place in London and online the day before on 5 February 2024 and the day after the main conference on 9 February 2024. Led by leading Microsoft MVPs, these delve deeper into Excel's advanced features and are designed to equip participants with some of the most sought-after skills in the workplace.
