LIVERPOOL, England, May 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
The Former Royal Liverpool Seamen's Orphanage (known locally as Newsham Park Hospital) in Liverpool, UK has been announced as the scene for a very unique scare fest this October. The building, which has lain unused for the past 20 years, is the site of many a haunted tale due to its long and chequered history as a Victorian Orphanage, General Hospital and Mental Asylum.
With recent paranormal investigations starting to be held at the venue, Liverpool Scare City Directors decided that this would be the perfect location for a haunted attraction and scare fest based on the history of the building itself. Having gathered a wealth of stories from former residents, staff and patients, the scene has been set for a terrifying venture into the past and a history lesson like no other!!
Using live actors, state of the art production, incredible special effects and a venue which has a haunted history this is a Halloween adventure which you will never forget.
A number of actors who worked at the venue recently for a launch event have even refused to go back after unexplained occurrences and strange goings-on during their late night rehearsals, so this really will be an experience for all.
