Visual is king! In 2016, more than three billion photos were exchanged each day on social networks throughout the world. Today, the visual internet has spread to the extent that it is found in all forms of communication, and is fast becoming the primary international language. For example, the confirmed rates of engagement are ten times higher on Instagram compared to Facebook. The internet giants are not mistaken in this regard, and from Google to IBM, all are investing massive amounts in Computer Vision. According to research consultants Markets and Markets, the market is estimated to be worth 25.75 billion dollars by 2019.
