BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Michigan, Aug. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lakeside Software, the leading provider of IT analytics and business intelligence solutions, today announced the addition of Citrix XenClient® into its SysTrack analysis toolset, making it easier for IT professionals to collect and utilize environmental and user data to deliver improved end-user performance and accelerate the roll-out of desktop virtualization projects enterprise-wide, across the full spectrum of use cases and user types.  Citrix XenClient is a key virtual desktop delivery model within XenDesktop, and is included with XenDesktop Enterprise and Platinum.  With XenClient, Citrix is uniquely able to extend desktop virtualization to cover use cases such as mobile laptops.

New SysTrack enhancements align with the recent launch of Citrix XenClient 5 and include:

  • FastTrack v4 XenClient Integration — Lakeside has released version 4 of SysTrack FastTrack, the desktop assessment tool for Citrix, delivering XenClient candidate analysis and advanced portfolio analysis for virtual desktop delivery models.
  • XenClient MarketPlace Report — SysTrack MarketPlace, the single source for multivendor assessment data, now includes a report specifically for Citrix XenClient that provides candidate information from the environment to pinpoint compatibility options for hardware and provide a complete inventory of applications for thorough analysis.

SysTrack support for XenClient is included in SysTrack 6.1 with immediate availability.
