The Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation has been accepted into the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) as an Organizational Member. The Foundation is dedicated to ocean conservation through scientific research and membership of the Academy affirms that the Foundation conducts its underwater surveys in a manner consistent with the highest standards of scientific diving.
The mission of AAUS is to facilitate the development of safe and productive scientific divers through education, research, advocacy, and the advancement of standards for scientific diving practices, certifications and operations.
