LONDON, May 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Great Place to Work® Institute Recognises Ketchum London
For the eighth year in a row, leading global public relations agency Ketchum has been rated as one of the best places to work in the U.K. by the Great Place to Work® Institute in its annual "Best Workplaces" list. The list, which was unveiled on Tuesday 20 May, ranks Ketchum No. 24 among the top places to work in the nation.
"Our entire sector is going through some pretty fundamental changes, so it's vital we attract and retain top talent if we are to stay ahead and meet the evolving needs of our clients," said Denise Kaufmann, partner and CEO of Ketchum London. "We want our people to have pride in what they do and who they work for, and we also want them to enjoy the colleagues they work with - so we're very honoured to receive this recognition for the eighth consecutive year."
The Best Workplaces list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute, which began in 1981 when a New York editor asked two business journalists - Robert Levering and Milton Moskowitz- to write a book called The 100 Best Companies to Work for in America. For the last 25 years, the Great Place to Work® Institute has partnered with more than 5,500 organisations with some 10 million employees worldwide to conduct the largest annual set of workplace culture studies in the world.
As in the 2013 programme, the Best Workplaces list includes three separate categories for Small, Medium and Large organisations, which allows participants to be evaluated against organisations of a similar size that face similar challenges. The Medium division, in which Ketchum was ranked, is representative of companies that employ between 50 and 499 people in their U.K. operations.
