SAN JOSE, California, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
New Release of Network Security Solution Introduces New Next-Generation Firewall Capabilities, Simplified Deployment and Advanced Monitoring and Notifications.
Today Kerio Technologies released Kerio Control 9.1, enhancing its all-in-one network security solution for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) with new next-generation firewall capabilities, including application awareness and safe content filtering, making it even easier to control network traffic.
"We're helping SMBs boost productivity and security in the workplace," said Heather Paunet, VP Products. "Our new application visibility and control capabilities provide a richer view of network activity, making it easier to restrict the use of applications that are considered to be time-wasting, whilst allowing access to the applications and tools the business needs."
The latest release also simplifies software upgrades and deployment with automatic upgrades and self-provisioning firewall capabilities. When a Kerio Control appliance is plugged in to the network it immediately self-provisions and starts protecting the network, users and assets.
Kerio Control 9.1 also sees the introduction of a MyKerio app for iPhone and Apple Watch, which provides real time monitoring and notifications for all connected appliances. If the status changes, there will be an immediate notification so any issues can be quickly addressed.
Kerio Control 9.1 is available for immediate download. Kerio Control hardware appliances start at $625 USD/€544 EUR. Kerio Control server software licenses start at $270 USD/€239 EUR. Visit www.kerio.com/control for more information.
