According to eMarketer, mobile ad spend will reach $32.7 billion globally in 2014, a 91.7% increase from 2013; social ad spend will reach $16.1 billion globally in 2014, 45.3% more than 2013. By 2016, eMarketer estimates that spending will reach $69.1 billion and $25.8 billion for mobile and social respectively. The acquisition of Adquant enables Kenshoo to quickly and efficiently expand its offering to better address the growing demand for marketing solutions in these key industries. Additionally, Adquant will gain access to Kenshoo's global distribution channel to accelerate its expansion into worldwide gaming markets.
