just-auto.com Embraces Responsive Web Design with New Website
LONDON, March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Automotive industry news and research portal just-auto.com is ringing in the changes with the introduction of both a new responsive design website and refreshed branding.
The new site, the first complete redesign since 2010, adapts to the user's device, reflecting the consumer shift toward the use of devices with smaller screens for web browsing.
Commenting on the new site launch, Dave Leggett, managing editor of just-auto said: "We realise that just-auto has to deliver a world class digital publication that keeps pace with consumer demand and the fast-moving world of automotive.
"The new site features improved site navigation, more powerful search functionality and better performance on portable devices such as smartphones and tablets which together account for almost 30% of global web traffic," added Leggett.
just-auto is part of Aroq Limited's stable of business information websites, which comprises fellow online publications just-style, just-drinks and just-food.
Richard Jackson, Aroq's CEO, said: "We recognised the need for just-auto's website and branding to better meet the changing needs of our users, and reflect our cutting-edge automotive content.
"This new design represents the culmination of six months of careful planning and analysis, and the initial response from customers has been overwhelmingly positive".
The new site comes at the end of a busy 12 months for the online publisher. Last summer the firm hired Calum MacRae to head up the development of just-auto's real-time automotive intelligence service, QUBE. This was followed by the appointment of ex-ClickThrough COO, John Newton, as Aroq's new marketing director.
