Joint Commission International Launches Hospital Search Site for Patients

The directory, WorldHospitalSearch.org, is free to the public and available in 80 languages. It is easily searchable by country, specialty or organization name. In addition, the site explains the value of seeking an organization that has met the rigorous quality and safety standards to earn JCI's Gold Seal of Approval.® There also is a section with resources on how to be an informed patient, including a traveler's checklist and country health profiles.
