Rishikul Yogshala (RYS200, RYS300) is Offering a Scholarship Programme to Spread Advanced Studies of Traditional Yogic Sciences
Rishikul Yogshala, a Yoga Alliance registered school based in Rishikesh, India, is offering the chance for 40 worthy students an advance 300 hour yoga teacher training course for free. This new scholarship to coincide with International Yoga Day, will be offered during the month of June at the school's headquarters. The aim is to further spread the advanced teaching of yoga in its traditional art form.

The 300 hour scholarship program will cover the intermediate series of Ashtanga Yoga and advance studies of Hatha Yoga, philosophy, pranayama, anatomy, alignment and adjustment, meditation and Shat Kriya - ensuring all graduates are fully equipped to be successful instructors.
The popular yogis of India; Bipin Baloni, Swami Aatma, Deepa Negi and Yogi Prashant will impart their yoga knowledge during the course. This intense training will be held at the school's headquarters in Rishikesh, India - 'Yoga capital of the World'.
"Yoga should be available for all, regardless of wealth and background, and at Rishikul Yogshala we are committed to keeping our fees as low as possible whilst retaining a high level of teaching and service. However, we recognise that for some, these fees may be unattainable. Inline with our belief that the cost of training should not be a barrier to an eager student fulfilling their desire to become a teacher and, inspired by all those wishing to make yoga a career and spread the art form by becoming teachers, our scholarship programme is offered," states the Rishikul Foundation Trust.
The board of directors and trustees of the school will hand pick 40 applicants to receive a full scholarship based on their financial circumstances and commitment to enhancing their community with yoga teaching. The school has recognised the need for those that have taken a 200 hour yoga teacher training to enhance their training with a further advanced 300 hour yoga teacher training. However financial limitations may be preventing this.
The school will offer 100% of the tuition fees to successful applicants who should submit the online form by the 31st May for enrolment of the month long course starting the 7th June, 2016. All additional costs will be the responsibility of the recipient including meals, accommodation, and travel.
