Johan "Julf" Helsingius Appointed as Chairman of BaseN's Board of Directors

BaseN, Global IoT Operator, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Johan Helsingius as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors as of May 23, 2016. He has served as a board member since 2002.
Johan Helsingius founded the first major commercial ISP in Finland, EUnet, and co-founded the first pan-European ISP, EUnet International. He held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at largest pan-European IP Carrier KPNQwest. He has received the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) Pioneer Award and serves in the GNSO Council of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
