EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, September 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --
Mediware Information Systems Inc, the parent company of Dutch company Mediware Information Systems BV (MIS) and UK based JAC Computer Services Ltd, has today announced it is to rename as WellSky.

The name "WellSky" conveys both the company's vision to elevate the quality of care through innovation and the breadth of its offerings across the continuum of health and community care, including leading solutions and services for blood banks, home health agencies, hospices, rehab facilities, Area Agencies on Aging, and many others.
WellSky unites more than 30 brands under a shared mission, which envisions a world where care providers can do good for people and well in business. WellSky is committed to developing innovative solutions, using the power of data to improve outcomes, and partnering with passion and purpose to make this vision possible.
Together with its customers, WellSky will be realising care's potential and building communities that thrive.
The rebranding will occur over several months and stages, and JAC Computer Services Ltd and Mediware Information Systems BV are planning their transition to the WellSky name.
In Europe, MIS is currently a leading Chemotherapy Management system provider in Norway, Sweden, Holland and Belgium. Whilst in the UK, JAC is the leading provider to the NHS of the JAC Pharmacy Management system, integrated EPMA solution and a Chemotherapy Management system through its Medicines Management Platform.
Rebranding under WellSky will allow both MIS and JAC to consolidate their specialist oncology, pharmacy and ePrescribing solutions under a single medicines management platform and to extend their combined footprint across Europe.
Existing MIS and JAC customers should note this is not a change of ownership - it is a rebranding exercise and as such, will not impact current and planned customer contracts.
