- Don Epperson becomes Executive Chairman
BOSTON, July 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Inversiones y Servicios Publicitarios, SL ("ISP"), a company fully owned by the Rodes family founded in 1998 by Leopoldo Rodes and his sons, is pleased to announce the formation of ISP Digital and the appointment of Don Epperson as its Executive Chairman.
ISP Digital manages ISP's investments in Acceso, SA ("Acceso"), in Antevenio, SA (Euronext Paris: ALANT) ("Antevenio"), where the Rodes family owns a minority stake, and is also the largest shareholder, and in Digilant Marketing, SL ("Digilant"). Acceso provides tools and services to monitor, analyze and report on placed media and social influencers. Antevenio manages category-specific and brand-sponsored content sites, provides eMail solutions to over 7,000 companies, and sells a wide range of digital media through its ad-network. Digilant provides customized programmatic media solutions. Combined these 3 companies employ over 600 people in 10 countries throughout Europe, the United States, and Latin America.
Over the last 20 years, ISP has founded and built a number of digital marketing and media services companies. With the addition of Mr. Epperson, ISP now aims to consolidate and accelerate the group's capabilities, and to expand globally, organically and through acquisitions. Don Epperson: Don Epperson is Executive Chairman of ISP Digital. Prior to joining ISP Digital, Don was Founder / General Partner of Digital Trek. Digital Trek is an investment company through which Don co-founded and became Executive Chairman of Enervee (enervee.com), OnWords (onwords.io), Shannon Reed (shannonreed.com), and Simpil.fi (simpli.fi). Prior to Digital Trek, Don was the Global CEO of Havas Digital, the digital media arm of Havas. Prior to Havas Digital, Don was the Founder and CEO of HookMedia, one of the industry's first interactive media agencies which developed Artemis and was acquired by Havas in 2001.
Leopoldo Rodes: Leopoldo was the founder in 1978 of Media Planning, and is the Chairman of Havas Media, and member of the board of directors of Caixabank, SA and Grupo Financiero Inbursa, SA de CV. He is also Chairman of the Fundacion Macba, (Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona), and of the Ramon Llull University Foundation.
Fernando Rodes: Fernando is Founder and Shareholder at Inversiones y Servicios Publicitarios, SL, which is a principal investor in Accesso, Antevenio, Digilant, and In-Store Media. Having served as former Chief Executive Officer of Havas Global among other media ventures, Fernando brings a wealth of experience to the group overseeing ISP's investment in the ISP Digital.
