IXcellerate, Russia's premier carrier-neutral data centre operator, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sergey Vyshemirskiy as Technical Director.

Sergey steps into this role from his previous position as Deputy Head of Technical Operations at MAKS, a leading Russian insurance company where he was in charge of building maintenance. He joined MAKS in 2007 and held a number of positions there over the years.
Sergey's vast experience dates back to his officer career in the Russian Air Force, which he joined as an operations technician in 1991 and left, having raised through the ranks, as senior engineer at the Chkalovsky Aerodrome, a facility entrusted with the safe transportation of the country's leaders and top army officers. His responsibilities included supervision of the technical aspects of aviation equipment maintenance.

Sergey graduated from the St. Petersburg Higher Military School of Electronics in 1995 with a degree in radio electronics engineering.
