MELBOURNE, Australia, March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
- IG innovation Chrome plug-in integrates trading and web browsing
- New IG platform preview provides instant access to markets and more
IG, Australia's number one CFD and FX provider*, has launched a Chrome extension enabling its clients to trade from almost any website. It also released an interactive version of its platform providing open access to showcase its award-winning features.
The IG Dealing extension integrates trading and web browsing. It identifies and lists all available markets on any website, and users can click on the market and open a deal ticket instantly. For example, if you're reading an article about the current movements in AUD/USD, the Chrome Dealing extension will highlight this market, and give you the ability to open a position within seconds, straight from that page. The extension also provides live prices of relevant markets, and links directly to relevant data and analysis on our insight centre.
Clients are able to trade straight from sites such as the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, The Economist and BBC News. Users also have the ability to manually activate the extension on any website.
Head of IG, Asia Pacific, Tamas Szabo, said, "This new addition alongside our trading platform is an exciting innovation for us. We're committed to providing our clients with cutting-edge technology, and the Chrome extension will help them take advantage of market opportunities whenever they want, safely and securely."
IG also released an interactive preview that showcases its trading platform. On top of its current, free two-week demo account, the new platform preview allows anyone to browse thousands of global markets, view live prices and market data, plus access charts and technical indicators - all without having to sign up.
Mr Szabo commented, "The CFD and FX industry is fiercely competitive, and we've now made it easier for traders to experience our award-winning platform instantly. We hope the open access to our platform will make the process of choosing the right CFD provider easier for traders."
The platform preview is available in one click.
