Online targeting, in-app advertising and creative developed in-house
IG Index, the UK's largest spread betting provider, has announced the launch of a major new integrated marketing campaign rolling out across the UK from Monday 6 February. The launch coincides with the release of IG Insight, a new dealing analysis and news portal which tracks client sentiment and dealing trends across IG's extensive active client base.
Featuring bold and impactful outdoor, press and interactive placements, the campaign will target commuters at London's Waterloo and Bank stations with travelator, in-car panels and a giant wall site. The press element includes placements in City AM, Evening Standard, The Times, The Telegraph, Moneyweek and Investors Chronicle, while online activity includes Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn activity and the release of cutting edge HTML 5 banners.
The online advertising will include contextual and behavioural targeting, while a significant element of the campaign will include in-app advertising on Bloomberg, reflecting the growing importance of mobility for IG's target clients. Currently 16% of total transactions take place on mobile devices, with the IG iPhone app the biggest mobile channel globally and recently featuring in the Sunday Times top 500 apps list.

The creative for the campaign was developed by an in-house team, while media buying was done by Mediacom and MPG.
