LONDON, June 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
IFSEC International, organised by UBM EMEA, have today announced the introduction in 2017 of the new Borders & Infrastructure Exhibition area, directly focusing on large scale security challenges including border control, national infrastructure, transport and key strategic assets.
Supported by the BSIA and LPCB, IFSEC Borders & Infrastructure is a natural evolution for IFSEC International, realising the ever increasing alignments between commercial security areas such as surveillance, video analytics, access control, physical perimeter security and IP networks with more strategic areas such as border control, command and control, emergency planning, and the protection of national infrastructure.
IFSEC Borders & Infrastructure will be a dedicated event in its own right, strategically placed within the main body of the IFSEC exhibition. It will have its own entrance, VIP Lounge & Networking Area as well as a seminar theatre which will provide a wide range of presentations and case studies delivered by a range of leading experts from around the world. For more sensitive, high level content, there will be off the floor gallery suites allocated for specific closed events and the visitors will be under strict qualification and vetting procedures.
This new addition to IFSEC International will be an ideal commercial platform for manufacturers and service suppliers in the areas of physical perimeter security, command and control equipment and solutions, scanning and screening, IT/ communications, barriers/ bollards, gates and shutters, training, transport security (including rail, airports and maritime) border control technology, emergency response solutions, CBRN Equipment, business continuity, and cyber security. If you're a manufacturer or service supplier of these key product areas IFSEC Borders & Infrastructure will provide you with a proven and effective platform to meet new and existing clients from your core customer areas. IFSEC International also welcomes visitors from over 112 countries so the opportunities for you to expand and develop export potential is vast. IFSEC International's bespoke Meetings Service, hosted in conjunction with UKTI, will help you to identify and deliver critically important face to face meeting time with highly influential specifiers and purchasers.
IFSEC's Event Director, Gerry Dunphy, states: "The introduction of a dedicated Borders & Infrastructure Exhibition is a natural evolution for IFSEC International as we aim to provide a complete and targeted security solution for key specifiers and purchasers. IFSEC International has a strong history of attracting senior representatives from government, utilities and national infrastructure although to the outside this hasn't always been part of the overall perception of the show. As IFSEC International is now firmly embedded in London, it has an outreach to senior decision makers for this key UK and international audience. They now have a destination at the event to visit and meet leading suppliers and partners from across the whole security spectrum; a new and uniquely rewarding investment of their time."
IFSEC International is a world leading security event with a rich and proven 45 year history in delivering over 28,000 customers annually to the global security industry. With a vast range of visitors from major public and private sector organisations, IFSEC is an established destination for security specialists to congregate and source a myriad of solutions to contemporary security challenges. It has a reputation for being the event of choice for high calibre security experts - many of whom travel internationally to attend the show.
IFSEC International already has formidable industry participation from leading exponents of integrated security systems including Tyco, Honeywell, UTC, and Bosch Security Systems as well as video surveillance and analytics experts such as Axis Communications, Samsung, Panasonic, Hikvision, Dahua, IDIS, Sony, Canon, Avigilon, Genetec, Uniview, and Milestone. In addition, IFSEC International benefits from strong representation from leading access control innovators such as TDSi, Paxton Access, Comelit, and ASSA Abloy. Providing expert technology and knowledge in intruder alarms and detection, IFSEC International has long standing relationships with Texecom, RISCO, and Pyronix, each one a leading supplier and innovator of intrusion alarm expertise.
Now with the introduction of IFSEC Borders & Infrastructure, these key customers will have a dedicated destination within the exhibition to source products and services, relax and meet with their peers and participate in a range of interactive case studies to enhance their professional development.
The team will be on hand at next week's IFSEC International to speak to potential exhibitors and interested visitors about this exciting development. Registration for the event, from the 21 - 23 June at ExCeL London, is available at: http://www.ifsec.co.uk/Borders
