City heavyweights join lecturing faculty
Leading not-for profit financial educational provider the ifs School of Finance has launched a full-time Masters degree in Banking Practice and Management to be delivered at its City of London campus from September. The new MSc programme is designed for aspiring financial services professionals from around the world and brings together an impressive collection of practitioner lecturers including Professor Moorad Choudhry, Treasurer, Corporate Banking Division at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Graham Flower, former Head of Customer Propositions and Marketing at HSBC.

The Masters programme will offer its alumni the highly sought-after ifs Chartered Fellowship status which represents the pinnacle of academic and professional achievement in the field of financial services. Only Masters alumni with at least three years' relevant professional experience can hold the coveted Chartered Fellowship designation*.

The new MSc follows on from the success of the ifs's full-time BSc (Hons) degree in Banking Practice and Management, launched in September 2011, which has seen UCAS applications more than double for its 2012 student intake.

The MSc completes a full suite of financial education provision from the ifs School of Finance from Level 1 to Level 7 (pre-GCSE to Masters), the only organisation in the UK to do so.
The MSc in Banking Practice and Management starts in September, based at the ifs's City campus at Monument in the City of London. 2012 full-time fees are £10,500 for UK and EU students and £13,700 for International students, a number of scholarships are available.
