The 2016 endurance season starts with the Hankook 24H race. Hankook acts as title sponsor and exclusive tyre partner to the 24-hour event, which is contested from 14 to 16 January on the Dubai Autodrome. The tyre maker will support the 24H series powered by Hankook with its quality Ventus racing tyre.

The season-opener poses tremendous challenges in terms of planning. Already back in November, the first tyres were sent to the southeast of the Arabian Gulf. Around 5,000 slicks and 2,000 wet tyres were transported to the United Arab Emirates.
At the racetrack, Hankook is represented round the clock by more than 50 staff members. During the race, the crew will work on four assembly lines to ensure the efficient supply of Hankook Ventus race tyres.
A standardized compound for all tyres is run at the Hankook 24H Dubai. Manfred Sandbichler states: "The season-opening is used as a show of strength from the car manufactures such as Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes and Porsche. We aim to perfectly support these brands with our premium material."
