A company's success is more dependent than ever on its employees and their skills and talents. Hager Group takes this even more into account by adding a new member to to its Board of Directors, formerly with three members. The position is being filled by Franck Houdebert, who for the past three years was largely responsible for shaping Human Resources at Hager Group as its Group Human Resources Director.

The new member to Hager Group's Board of Directors is 50 years old, born in France, and an acknowledged Human Resources expert. Before joining Hager Group, Franck Houdebert gained extensive H.R. experience in various companies. During his time with Hager Group, since 2001, the number of employees has grown to a total of almost 12,000. It was also during this time that Hager Group joined the organisation "Investors in People", which sets worldwide standards in H.R.
Having Franck Houdebert, an H.R. Director as a member of the Board of Directors, accords even more importance to the value of Hager Group employees. According to Günther Fleig, Chairman of Hager Group's Supervisory Board, this advantage cannot be estimated too highly. "Reinforcing the company management in the field of Human Resources will help us support our growth plans for and with the implementation of our strategic company project, Project 2020. In Franck Houdebert we not only have an expert, we also have somebody who knows the group inside-out."
Franck Houdebert will be taking up his position on the Board of Directors with effect from 1st January 2016. His Board of Director colleagues are Daniel Hager (Chief Executive Officer), Bertrand Schmitt (Chief Operating Officer) and Philippe Ferragu (Chief Group Resources Officer).
