Midlands based online sports and fashion retailer Gymshark have announced their attendance at this year's Clothes Show as one of the event's main sponsors.
It is the first time that Gymshark have exhibited at the fashion event although they are already a firm favourite at sports and fitness expos. Body Power, LA Fit and the Arnold Classic in Melbourne, Australia, are some of the expos where fans have been known to queue for six hours to access the brand.
By diversifying into a fashion event, the Gymshark team are hoping to introduce their signature brand of athleisure wear to a new audience of predominantly female fans, having seen demand for their womenswear category grow by 100% over the past twelve months, against overall impressive 50%YOY growth of the entire brand. The move is a big indication of the ambitious growth plans the brand has for the next twelve months as they begin to target a wider audience.
Visitors to the Gymshark stand at the Clothes Show will be able to view the brand's bestselling lines, along with their AW16 capsule collection and will benefit from great prices, typically 15% off RRP. Gymshark will also be rewarding customers with free gifts and special offers for the duration of the Clothes Show.
