GTL Achieves PCI Level 1 Compliance - Highest Level for Merchants

Level 1 is the highest level of compliance possible, with a requirement of over 6 million securely-processed transactions in a 12-month period. This achievement reflects GTL's commitment to ensuring the security of its customers' Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in all transactions. In fact, GTL securely processed over 16 million credit card transactions in 2014, a record high for the company.
PCI standards were set in place by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council as a way to keep cardholder data secure and reduce credit card fraud. GTL has been a PCI certified merchant for four years and continues to improve its security posture above and beyond PCI requirements in an effort to stay in line with the ever changing threat landscape. As a Level 1 merchant, the company is now required to complete and provide the PCI-DSS Report on Compliance (ROC) to its merchant bank. This report details the specific controls GTL has in place necessary to meet the objective of each PCI-DSS requirement.
