NEW YORK and LONDON, Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Group Commerce Inc., the market-leading platform for publishers to participate in e-commerce, announced today that Jason Keiles is coming onboard as Managing Director of its UK operations, which was acquired from Dealised early last March. Jason will be responsible for the leadership and development of Group Commerce's fast-growing UK business, including the direction of new e-commerce partnerships with companies such as Nectar and the Evening Standard.
"I'm excited to lead the charge of being the market leader in the UK, just as Group Commerce is in the U.S.," said Mr. Keiles. "We're deeply committed to our partners and staff, and believe in the value of e-commerce for brands like those of our quality partners. This is an incredible space with massive growth potential, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it."
Jason has over ten years of global experience in the media industry. In August 2003, he founded JL Global Enterprises LLC (JL Global), an advisory firm for U.S., European and Asian-based companies interested in exploring new growth opportunities for their existing media, entertainment and other businesses around the world.
Jason later went on to serve in a variety of roles at the intersection of content and commerce, most recently as Chief Representative for Virgin Radio International in North and South America, having been previously responsible for the launch and development of Virgin Radio in Asia.
"Jason brings incredible enthusiasm and expertise to the Group Commerce team," said Jonty Kelt, CEO of Group Commerce. "He has an impressive background coupled with the intellect, network, and skill set required to lead our talented UK staff. We could not be more excited to have him."
Reporting to Jason and supporting the business development efforts of the business in the UK will be Christian Lindstrom, a savvy media company veteran with significant experience in the tech space. Including both Jason Keiles and Christian Lindstrom, Group Commerce's UK operation now totals 29 people.
