Gordon Brothers Europe names Mr Heinz Weber as President

- Increased global demand for services leads to promotion and realignment for future expansion

LONDON, June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gordon Brothers Europe (GBE), a firm specialising in restructurings for the retail, commercial, and industrial sectors, announced today that Mr Heinz Weber will assume the role of President of Gordon Brothers Europe, overseeing the European subsidiary of Gordon Brothers Group.

Mr Weber has over 10 years of leadership experience and has played an instrumental role as Managing Director, Head of D-A-CH for GBE. He has assisted on many transactions and established and managed the company's growth in continental Europe, including the opening of the German office in Cologne and the formation of the German team. Mr Weber also brings considerable experience of Lending and Corporate Recovery from his prior roles with Landsbanki and Lloyds TSB. His international experience is broad having lived and worked in seven different countries over his 20 year career. Mr Weber moved to the United Kingdom upon his appointment and will be managing all seven of the GBE European offices from GBE headquarters in London.

Mr Frank Morton, who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer for GBE will be stepping up into a new role as Chief Executive Officer for Gordon Brothers International, responsible for Europe as well as all territories outside of North America.
