MAIDENHEAD, England, TOKYO and BRAUNSCHWEIG, Germany, March 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
myGengo (http://mygengo.com/), one of the leading online providers of professional human translation services, and Alfresco, market leader in Open Source Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECMS), announce their global technology partnership today. By integrating myGengo's translation service into the Alfresco software, Alfresco users will be able to order fast, cost-effective, and professional translations of any content stored in their ECMS.
myGengo is a human translation platform that allows users to get texts, documents, and complete websites translated. myGengo offers professional translation services in 15 languages - including many Western European languages, as well as Korean, Chinese, and Arabic. The portal has available over 4,500 qualified translators worldwide. Alfresco's ECM-solution offers document management, web content management, workflow management, and records management.
Through a myGengo plug-in integrated into Alfresco´s software, users can within minutes submit content stored in the ECMS to get it translated by myGengo's translators. Translated texts are then integrated at the correct location in the ECMS. myGengo supports all common text formats. The integration of myGengo's platform into Alfresco's software is being handled by fme based in Braunschweig. Full functionality will be available from April 2012.
"It makes total sense to provide language translation where customers are creating and managing content. This partnership with Alfresco is a great example," explains Robert Laing, CEO of myGengo. "We are now able to reach even more enterprise customers worldwide and to assist them in internationalizing their business."
"We are happy to have gained myGengo as a strong partner who fits our needs optimally," says Bernhard Werner, Senior Solutions Engineer at Alfresco. "myGengo's innovative and professional translation services are an ideal addition to our ECM-solution."
